Hello!
My name is Nico Daniel (b. 1988) and I am a freelance graphic designer residing in South Florida. I studied Graphic Design at Southern New Hampshire University and previously studied English Literature, Education, and Theatre at Florida State University. My body of work ranges from promotional marketing materials and publication design, in both print and digital, to logo design and brand identity development. I gravitate towards bold, vibrant color palettes and typography tailored to each project’s target audience. I enjoy working with graphic design software and creating within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite – particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I have a passion for designing posters, magazines, and brochures. I approach each project with integrity and transparency. I design with strong ethics in mind, so I avoid misleading the viewer, respect other creators, and provide proper attribution to original sources when necessary. I am seeking freelance or contract opportunities and full-time opportunities.
When I am not working and designing, I enjoy painting, crocheting, music, gaming, spending time in nature, floral photography, collecting crystals, and loving on my three chihuahuas. I gain creative inspiration from the organic shapes, patterns, and colors found outdoors. As a child I found an early love of magazines – particularly for their typography, photography, and layouts – which sparked my passion for visual communication. Elements of 90s culture continue to influence my aesthetic and fuel my creative exploration.
